Grant pensions from 2013 onwards?

News-

When it comes to Minister von der Leyen of labour, there will be a grant pension for low wage earners from 2013 onwards. It is still unclear whether and to what extent it comes at all. After all, there is opposition for their plans also from their own ranks.
What could actually be a good thing for low wage earners, has also some hook. The hurdles to get this grant pensions, are too high for example according to the CSU.
According to first estimates around 20,000 people are expected to include in the first step to the people of the pension, after 10 years, the number is expected to increase to 250,000, from 2035 it should be then already over 1 million subscribers.
Contents and conditions
Low earners will be given a tax-financed pension of 850 euro. Because conditions be linked however. Who must prove who wants to have the pension in the first 10 years from 2013 onwards, at least 40 years membership in the pension insurance. This includes the education from the age of 17, other training periods, unemployment and pregnancy.
Of these 40 years of contributions must be 30 years. Also five year of private supplementary pension necessary (here retirement as a means to an end is called are of course the Riester).
In 2023, you must demonstrate even 45 years of affiliation to pension insurance and 35 years of contributions. Similarly, the request to additional pension will be increased gradually.
Where is allowed to notice: If someone brings together pension not even 850 euro after 35 years plus several years of additional pension, then that cannot speak for the remuneration system in Germany or von der Leyen already know that the low-wage sector will be dramatically expanded.
